Welcome to Gwent Outdoor Centres Web Site. We have put together lots of information about our three centres. There should be enough information for groups coming to visit us, to allow them to prepare for their visit. We also hope new clients will find the site useful. Anything you cannot find or are not sure about please give us a ring. Although the website is a great place to start please don't hesitate to phone one of our members of staff so we can support you even more.

This website contains details of the accommodation and courses provided at our three centres: Talybont, Gilwern and Hilston Park.
Our service is increasingly popular with a wide range of clients. During recent years we have successfully designed outdoor education and outdoor development courses for clients ranging from special needs departments in primary schools to "A" level students preparing for university and from young unemployed to senior managers.
Looking for something new for your A level students ?? - Try Orienteering
Recently 14 AS & A2 students spent an enjoyable week Orienteering at Gilwern Centre. Following the NEW OCR syllabus students followed a course of instruction in the mornings & then competitions in the afternoon in a wide range of challenging weather conditions and on a variety of courses in the local area from easy courses near Trellech to more challenging courses in the Forest of Dean. Good grades were achieved by all and made a great alternative to the usual Rugby, Football and Hockey, especially for those students with no outstanding personal sport
