Bring your group to a Grade II-listed country house in beautiful countryside just 10 minutes from Monmouth and the River Wye.
Try canoeing, high ropes or archery on site – and there's much more. We're close to the Forest of Dean with its massive network of off road cycling routes. Offas Dyke path and Wye valley walk are a short drive away. We cater for large groups here (up to 50).
There is also a smaller, self-catering lodge house within the grounds which can sleep up to 9.
Set in the old railway station at Talybont-on-Usk, between the Black Mountains and the Brecon Beacons. 34 beds. Come here for hillwalking, mountain biking, canoeing (we're just a few hundred meters from the canal and access/egress point on the river Usk) Forest Schools, hillwalking, campfires (and lots more). Ideal for DofE groups using the Brecon Beacons area.
Self catering is possible here too, which is very popular with canoeists, mountain bikers, mountain marathon runners and groups looking for a special venue.
Our biggest centre can accommodate groups of up to 90 in 2 separate single-storey buildings set in 15 acres of grounds.
There is an indoor bouldering wall, climbing tower, woodland and large meadow for camping. We're also just 10 minutes from the Clydach gorge with its extensive cave network and the Sustrans off road cycle route linking Abergavenny to Brynmawr.
Self catering is available for groups of up to 38 in the Blorenge lodge.

The instructors at our three well-established outdoor education centres in Monmouthshire and Powys have decades of experience between them so you'll be in safe hands. Gwent Outdoor Centres caters for school groups and other large parties and we offer tailored activity packages which include caving, hillwalking, camping, climbing, canoeing and mountain biking.
We are a a Duke of Edinburgh-licensed accredited activity provider and our centres have Green Eco Flag status. We are a Forest Schools provider too. Above all, whether you're a teacher, parent or adult participant you can rest assured you'll have an outdoor adventure to remember in one of the most stunning landscapes in Wales!

You can hire Gwent Outdoor Centres' climbing tower for your corporate event or charity fundraiser. We can also cater for company away-days and team development events or weekends for adventurous groups of friends.
We train adults to be instructors in outdoor activites. Gwent Outdoor Centres' staff are able to provide training in canoeing, kayaking, climbing, caving, hillwalking, mountain biking, orienteering and navigation.
